Unfortunately, I do not have the time to provide technical support for DIY builds. These resources are intended for those with a moderate amount of experience & knowledge building circuits. They are not recommended for beginners! That said, if there is an issue with the website, DIY files and/or documentation, please let me know. I want to make sure that what I provide is complete, accurate, and reasonably clear.

Here are some great DIY resources for beginners:

madbeanpedals - Includes many VFE PCBs. This is the only authorized dealer of VFE PCBs.

BYOC (Build Your Own Clone) - BYOC kits were where I got my start!

Pete's DIY Effects Pedals - a great resource if you are new to DIY pedals

Reddit DIY Pedals - It's a large DIY community, but it's still Reddit, so proceed with caution!

Mod Kits DIY - Lots of kits, including some that are perfect for beginners

AionFX - Has a selection of DIY kits with more unique clones (like BBE Sonic Maximizer & DarkGlass Microtubes).

FREE shipping is available on orders of $50 or more to the United States.

Because of my limited time, I will ship orders out once per week. This will typically be on a Saturday, but could be anytime between Friday & Monday.

I only manufacture pedals on occasion so I can spend more time with my family and focus on building the education programs at IDEA High School in Tacoma, WA. My manufacturing schedule is built around the breaks in my teaching schedule.

All pedals can be returned within 30 days for any reason. A full refund will be issued if the pedal is returned in like-new condition within 30 days.

All pedals have a 1-year warranty. If a repair is needed in the first year, we do so at no charge. After 1-year, labor & return shipping will be charged (maximum charge is $50 + shipping cost).

Email Peter at sales@vfepedals.com with ALL the details concerning the problem you are having. If you attach a clear photo of the inside of the pedal, that often helps with a quick diagnosis. Many issues can be solved over email. If your pedal needs to be sent in for repair, you will receive instructions via email.

Please contact the builder with your questions. I do not service or repair pedals built by 3rd parties.
